Gustavo Badell Age, Height, Weight: Gustavo Badell, popularly known as The Freakin’ ‘Rican was a Venezuelan professional bodybuilder.

He developed a passion for bodybuilding at a younger age and at the age of fifteen (15), he began lifting weights in order to increase his size for boxing

Due to his seriousness in lifting weight, Badell gained muscle incredibly fast, and when he was 19 entered his first bodybuilding competition.

He eventually won his first bodybuilding competition, that’s the 1991 Junior Caribbean Bodybuilding Championships.

After six years of weight training, he eventually became a professional and went ahead to win the 1997 Caribbean Championships.

His first International Federation of BodyBuilders appearance was in 1998 when he competed in the Grand Prix of Germany.

Badell competed in the International Federation of BodyBuilders Night of Champions in 1999, where he finished in 14th place.

He has also had a stint in several competitions including; Ironman Pro Invitational, Mr. Olympia, and Arnold Classic. He appeared in many fitness and magazine articles.

Badell also appeared in numerous advertisements for MuscleTech, normally for Nitrotech Hardcore protein powder and Masstech weight-gain powder.

He was associated with the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilders) and has a large list of accomplishments throughout his professional career

Sadly, the star bodybuilder had died. Gustavo Badell passed away at 50 on Friday, July 30, 2023. As per reports, the bodybuilder was suffering from kidney-oriented issues and passed away due to a stroke.

The Freakin’ ‘Rican was one of the most respected bodybuilders, and his death has left the bodybuilding community with an irreplaceable loss.
