Destiny 2 Filthy Lucre Farm

Filthy Lucre farming is one of the steps of the Destiny 2 Bank Job quest, which revolves around the new Witherhoard grenade launcher. The quest description of Bank Job tells you that you get Filthy Lucre by completing Nightfalls, Crucible matches, and Gambit matches. That much is true, but the process is incredibly slow, so people are wondering how they can speed up their farming of Filthy Lucre. That’s exactly what we’ll be discussing in our Destiny 2 Filthy Lucre Farm – Bank Job Witherhoard Quest guide.

How to Farm Filthy Lucre Fast in Destiny 2 Bank Job Witherhoard Quest?

To farm Filthy Lucre fast in the Bank Job quest in Destiny 2, you’re going to need to purchase the season pass. The paid version has two boosters on Rank 11 and Rank 22 that make this quest significantly more manageable. On Rank 11, you’ll get Catalyst Enhancement Alpha, which doubles your quest progression speed. Rank 22 grants you Catalyst Enhancement Omega, and that will triple your progression speed. This is the only way that we know of to speed up the process.

Without these two boosters, you’ll get a piddly one to two Filthy Lucre per completed activity. Reminder: you get the Lucre by completing Gambit matches, Crucible matches, and Nightfalls. You don’t have to emerge victorious; successfully completing them is enough. It’s just painfully slow going. Moreover, if you’re playing with the free version of the season pass, you won’t even get the Witherhoard rifle until Rank 35, and without it, you can’t even start Bank Job. So, for you, this whole thing is basically a moot point.

I’m gonna wrap up the guide here before I start ranting about the haves and have-nots of Destiny 2, because this is basically all there is to it when it comes to farming Filthy Lucre in Destiny 2.
