Enrique "Kiki" Camarena Salazar is a US intelligence officer in the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. In February 1985, Camarena was kidnapped by drug traffickers in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was interrogated under torture and murder. The three leaders of the Guadalajara drug gang were eventually convicted in Mexico for the Camarena murder. The US investigation of the Camarena murder resulted in three more trials in Los Angeles against other Mexican citizens involved in the crime.
